Question by abbie f: Are there any low-cost drug treatment programs in Oregon?
My family is really low on cash at the moment, and I want to help my parents by finding a low-cost drug rehab center or drug treatment program for my younger brother who has gotten himself involved in drugs. Any suggestions?

I have included links below that you can check out. One has a list of centers affiliated with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association. As far as I know, they can give grants to those who need it. You should call those centers and ask around. I hope you find a treatment center soon, and that your brother recovers form his addiction.

Can You Tell Me What Drug My Sister Is On?
Question by Jennifer: Can you tell me what drug my sister is on?
My stepsister is on drugs. I didn’t see her, but the symptoms I was told she has are : sores all over face, extreme weight loss, hard time speaking, dropping things constantly, and then the hardest to describe is a sort of muscle problem. I was told that she kept talking with her head to the side and her arms were constantly moving almost like muscle spasms and I guess it almost looked like she was autistic or some other retardation.

Drug addiction treatments cost much because a lot of factors are involved when treating a patient. Medication and payment for counseling and therapy costs much. But studies have shown that a full year of methadone maintenance treatment would cost a lot less than a year of imprisonment. Besides, this is someone’s life that’s on the line. What’s a thousand dollars compared to leading a sober, happy, addiction-free life?
Million Marijuana March NYC 2007 Ibogaine and the Drug War
Million Marijuana March NYC 2007 Ibogaine and the Drug War – This is a video from New York City May 5th 2007. The Global Marijauna March to legalize drugs and focus on treatment instead of prison for addicts. Also of great concern is to get the fascist pigs to stop locking up harmless, peaceful, hard working members of our society for choosing marijuana over alcohol and prescription drugs. Our tax money is far better spent on fighting actual crime even though that will make a “detective”s job a lot harder. Witholding Marijuana from those who would benifit medically from using it is cruel an unusual punishment; witholding recreational marijuana is an infringemnet of the people’s right to pursue happiness. Included is info about how to kick heroin, crack, coke, cigarettes etc. Related Links ::: www.cures-not-wars.org www.kunstler.org http blog.leap.cc
