Please talk to someone you can trust about this problem. It will not get better on its own. The sooner you seek help, the easier it’s going to be.

you should talk to your doc., what are you taking them for? you really should discuss it with a professional. my husband has chronic pain and is now on methadone. your meds won’t work right if you take them wrong. please talk with your doc…..

One Response to Narcotic Drug Addiction.?

Well, if you need them, you need them, especially if they are prescribed. I would address your concern with your doctor next visit. However it is very natural for your body to over time grow immune to a certain dose and slowly you’ll need more of it to get the same effect.

My advice would be to first, talk to your doctor, second continue with your treatment, when it comes to the point in time that you no longer need it, you will go through withdrawals. The more you had to take the worse it will be. At this time however, you could have your doctor prescribe you bupenephrine (suboxone) which will diminish the symptoms of the withdrawls and free you from the pills.

Good luck and I hope whatever is ailing you is gone soon. Being a slave to narcotics is a b*tch.
