I am in my bachelor’s program in college majoring in psychology. is there specific classes that are needed to become a drug and alcohol abuse counselor?
I’m going to give my academic counselor a call, but I was just wondering if anyone knows.

Depending on what level and aspect of treatment you wish to deal with the requirements differ. There is an associates you can get in addiction studies that allows you do do some cousneling. Minimal though. Generally to provide official counseling you would need a masters in counseling.
